Burbank, OH – October 10, 2016 – In an effort to improve the holiday season for both customers and staff, Ohio Station Outlets and Gilad Development Inc. have decided not to open on Thanksgiving this year. Instead, Ohio Station Outlets will be opening their doors at 6 a.m. on Black Friday and introducing new incentives for shoppers to enjoy after their holiday off.
“Ohio Station Outlets appreciates its employees and customers very much,” said Trinity D’Andrea Elmiger, General Manager/Marketing Director/Leasing Administrator of Ohio Station Outlets. “Thanksgiving is traditionally a day for families and we, like many others in the retail industry, are excited to give this day back.”
In past years, Ohio Station Outlets has offered $15 gift certificates to the first customers on Thanksgiving night. They will be continuing this practice with the first 200 customers at guest services on the morning of Black Friday. These gift certificates may be used at any Ohio Station Outlets merchant and are the perfect jump-start to a holiday shopping trip. In addition, Ohio Station Outlets will run a promotion throughout the weekend which will allow the first 100 customers who spend at least $275 at Ohio Station Outlets stores (and show receipts) to receive a free Roku Express+ streaming player.
Some Ohio Station Outlets stores may choose to open at 10 p.m. on Thanksgiving. Management will publish a complete list of open stores on ohiostationoutlets.com as the date nears. Gilad Development and Ohio Station Outlets wish everyone a happy and safe Thanksgiving Day. We will see you on Black Friday!
